An opportunity has opened for a talented Senior Associate or Special Counsel Tax Lawyer to join the firm’s Sydney Tax practice.

You will work closely with a senior tax partner known for their technical expertise and commercial acumen, advising a broad range of clients on matters involving:

• Complex tax structuring and planning
• Both direct and indirect tax issues
• High-value commercial transactions with tax implications
• Business development and strategic growth initiatives
• Mentoring and developing junior staff

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years PAE in tax law
• Solid experience in both direct and indirect taxation
• Previous experience in a commercial law firm or major accounting firm
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Client-facing experience and ability to build long-term relationships
• A portable client base is desirable but not required
• Leadership qualities and mentoring experience preferred
