They are looking for an experienced Wills & Estates Lawyer to lead their wills and estates team. It is a role with real autonomy: you will manage your own files, work directly with clients and referral partners, and contribute to the practice's continued success.

About the role!

You will handle the full life cycle of wills and estates work, from estate planning and drafting through to administration and probate, dealing directly with clients, executors and beneficiaries.

• Lead the wills and estates team and contribute to the practice's continued success
• Draft wills, enduring powers of attorney and advance health directives
• Advise clients on estate planning strategies
• Handle estate administration and probate applications
• Advise executors and beneficiaries
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners
• Take part in business development and networking initiatives

What you'll bring!

• Admitted in Queensland with a current practising certificate
• 5+ years PAE in wills and estates (or equivalent experience)
• Strong technical knowledge of succession law
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with a compassionate, empathetic and professional approach
• Strong attention to detail and file management skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to delivering exceptional client service
