About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to lead a flagship community pharmacy on the Central Coast. This role blends clinical leadership with operational oversight, allowing you to spend time both supporting patients and guiding a large multidisciplinary team. With three full-time pharmacists and a strong dispensary technician team already in place, the focus is on clinical checking, patient consultations, and professional services rather than traditional dispensing.

The pharmacy is progressing toward full scope practice, supported by dedicated consultation rooms and a forward-thinking service model.

What’s on Offer

• $140K salary package + performance bonus
• Full-time role: 38 hours per week
• Work within a flagship pharmacy environment
• Large, experienced team of 27 (3 pharmacists and 7 dispensary technicians on duty)
• Manage approximately 490 scripts per day and 400 Webster packs
• Fred Classic dispensing software transitioning to Fred Plus within months
• Dedicated consultation rooms supporting clinical services

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across a 27-person pharmacy team including pharmacists, techs, retail and assistants
• Oversee pharmacy governance, compliance, and operational standards
• Work collaboratively with the retail manager on staffing, rostering and HR matters
• Support pharmacists in delivering patient consultations and professional services
• Maintain strong customer engagement while ensuring efficient pharmacy workflow
• Help drive the transition toward full scope clinical services

What You’ll Need

• Current AHPRA General Registration as a Pharmacist
• Proven leadership experience as a Pharmacy Manager or PIC
• Strong organisational and team management skills
• Excellent communication and ability to motivate large teams
• Interest in advancing clinical services and full scope pharmacy practice
• Experience with Fred dispensing systems preferred
