Job Description

About the Role

A busy community pharmacy in the Hills District (north west) is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge for a full-time position. This is a hands-on, forward-facing role where you’ll combine dispensing, counselling, professional services and day-to-day operational oversight, supported by a dispensary technician and pharmacy assistant.


What’s on Offer

  • Full-time role: 45 hours per week, Sunday to Friday
  • Support on shift from a dispensary technician and assistant
  • Steady script volume of 200–250 per day
  • Forward-facing environment with a mix of core pharmacy duties
  • Z Dispense software
  • Stable, ongoing position in a well-run community pharmacy

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead dispensary operations as Pharmacist in Charge
  • Dispense and check prescriptions accurately using Z Dispense
  • Provide patient counselling and deliver high-quality customer care
  • Support and guide dispensary team members to maintain workflow
  • Maintain compliance with relevant pharmacy standards and legislation
  • Contribute to the smooth running of daily pharmacy operations

What You’ll Need

  • Current AHPRA General Registration as a Pharmacist
  • Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Confidence working in a busy, forward-facing environment
  • Ability to lead day-to-day workflow with a calm, organised approach
