Our client, a major public hospital in the Central Coast, is seeking Locum Emergency Trainee Doctors to support the Emergency Department in Gosford. The hospital serves a diverse patient population with a wide range of acute and subacute cases and offers a collaborative and well-supported work environment for locum clinicians.


About the Position

This locum opportunity is ideal for ED Trainees with at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience. You'll be part of a dynamic team at Gosford Hospital, one of the busiest facilities in the region, and enjoy competitive hourly rates and an accommodation allowance.

Shifts available from Sunday, 11 May 2025 to Sunday, 3 August 2025, including afternoon and evening hours (12:00–22:00 or 14:00–00:00). Choose flexible dates that suit your schedule.


Key Requirements

To be eligible for these shifts, candidates must meet the following compliance criteria:

• AHPRA Medical Registration
• Minimum of 3 References:
  
  • 1 x Clinical Skills Reference
  • 2 x Professional Behaviour References
  • ED roles must include 1 recent ED reference (within 12 months)
  • Minimum 2 terms of prior ED experience required
• Covid-19 Vaccination (Recommended)
• Flu Vaccination (Required)

On Offer

• Hourly Rate: $130 to $145 per hour (depending on date)
• Accommodation allowance of up to $120 per night 
• Exposure to a high-volume Emergency Department with strong peer support
• Flexible shifts to suit your availability
