About the Role

An exceptional opportunity is available for a VR General Practitioner to join a long-established, doctor-owned practice in Brisbane's Inner North. With the practice having served its community since 1920, you'll be joining a clinic with deep local connections and an established, affluent patient demographic.

A full-time GP has recently departed, leaving significant patient capacity for an incoming doctor. The practice can accommodate a GP seeking 3, 4 or 5+ days per week. The team is flexible and happy to negotiate the right arrangement.

What's on Offer

• 65% of billings
• $150 per hour retainer for the first 2 months
• Mixed billing practice with approximately 85% private billing
• Private consultation fees starting from $80 for a 15-minute appointment
• Immediate patient capacity following the departure of a full-time GP
• Flexible 3, 4 or 5+ day working arrangements

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centred general practice care
• Take a holistic approach to patient health and wellbeing
• Manage acute, chronic and preventative healthcare presentations
• Support an established patient demographic
• Build long-term relationships and provide continuity of care
• Work collaboratively with nursing, administration and fellow doctors

What You'll Need

• Current AHPRA General Registration as a Medical Practitioner
• FRACGP, FACRRM or equivalent Vocational Registration
• A holistic and patient-focused approach to general practice
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to high-quality, continuity-based medicine

• 1 FTE nurse onsite five days per week
