Job Description

  • Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 + Super 
  • Mixed Ages Caseload, community based role
  • 6 Month New Graduate program
This National Allied Health organisation offers incredible support to their clinicians out in the community! With a well established, very experienced Senior leadership team at the core of their service, this organisation provides ample opportunities for new clinicians to progress in their career, grow their professional practice and easily access support through online communication systems. 

Benefits:
  • Salary ranging from $75, 000 - $95,000 + Super
  • 6 month comprehensive new graduate program
  • Gradual increase of billable targets over 12 weeks building up to 4.35hours per day (3-4 clients a day)
  • A caseload tailored to your interest area (option to work with private clients only)
  • Work flexibility; control your work calendar with flexible start/ finish times, option to work an 8 day or 9 day fortnight
  • $4000 professional development allowance each financial year
  • Weekly supervision with a Senior clinician 
  • Receive your own career coach who supports you in reaching your professional goals
  • Extensive onboarding/ induction; work shadowing for the first 2 weeks, learn systems, policies and processes
  • Travel allowance; 96c per km, reimbursed each pay
  • Earn up to $8400 (annually) additional to your salary if you consistently meet your billable targets
  • Access Senior clinical support throughout your day through online messaging systems (Microsoft teams/ WhatsApp) to get quick answers to your clinical questions 
  • Career progression opportunities; undertake leadership training programs to take on leadership responsibilities as you grow
  • Admin team to take care of initial bookings and all billings
  • Connect with other occupational therapists within your area once a month to engage in team building, professional development and social events 
About the role:

You will be travelling to NDIS & private clients homes and schools or engaging via telehealth to conduct initial assessments, create tailored therapy plans built on evidence based therapy, take progress notes and write NDIS or progress reports.

Receive weekly supervision from a Senior clinician within your team, weekly coaching from a career coach, meet up once a month to undertake discipline specific professional development training and participate in fun, team building activities. 

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia 
  • Drivers licence and own vehicle
