New Graduate Occupational Therapist opportunity working with a varied caseload of NDIS clients from their modern clinic located in Bundoora!

Job Description

Our client's main hubs are situated in Bundoora, Reservoir, and Roxburgh Park. They are driven and built by a vision of delivering comprehensive therapy services, and as such, they provide a wide range of NDIS services to clients spanning all age groups.

They have established an adaptable work atmosphere that allows you to divide your time between clinic-based and community-based work, with the added convenience of a pool car at your disposal. Teams have the opportunity to access a wealth of knowledge through weekly two-hour workshops, peer support initiatives, and informative presentations. Why this role:
  • Salary of $73,000- $81,000 + superannuation
  • Annual PD budget of $1000 + 2 days study leave
  • Pool vehicles available for use
  • External speakers provide training to the entire team once per week
  • Ability to work from multiple clinic locations across Bundoora, Reservoir and Roxburgh Park
  • Travel reimbursement on a per km basis
  • Flexibility in your working day including both working in clinic and within the community at schools and client homes
  • Mobile phone and laptop are provided
How you will be supported:
  • 80 hours of CPD provided to each clinician annually 
  • Multiple hours of workshops, peer support and PD presented by senior clinicians and external speakers
  • Weekly supervision provided by your lead Occupational Therapist
  • Structured onboarding and new graduate support across your first year
  • Opportunity to shadow Senior Occupational Therapists
  • Gradually increasing caseload over your first 6 months as you become more comfortable 
About the role:
  • Choose from a mixed ages or paediatric caseload 
  • Work entirely from their clinic locations or participate in some client visits in the community
  • Services include face-to-face therapy for all ages in all settings, Assistive Technology, Assessment and Reports, Home Modifications, Functional Assessments, Wheelchair and Seating Assessments and prescription, Home safety assessments, Functional skill training – personal, domestic, or community
  • Choose to be based from their clinics in Bundoora, Reservoir and Roxburgh Park
  • Collaborate with other Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists within their multidisciplinary team
  • Working primarily with NDIS clients with some private referrals
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Drivers license
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
