- Aged Care Caseload (ages 65+) - CHSP & Aged Care Support Plans in Clinic
- Opportunity for a portion of mixed ages NDIS caseload as well if you wish
They are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist (minimum 2-3+ years) to step into a pivotal role supporting aged care clients under CHSP and Support at Home programs, with the autonomy to shape and grow the service offering.

What’s on Offer? - Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 + Super + Benefits
- Predominantly clinic-based role with some home visits for assessments
- Adult-only caseload (aged 65+) - no NDIS requirements
- Flexible working arrangements including 9-day fortnight and flexible start/finish times

- Access to a high-tech gym facility (AI-integrated equipment) for staff use after hours
- Fortnightly or Monthly Clinical Supervision from a very experienced team of Senior Speechies based in Brisbane with a collective of 88+ Years experience
Why You’ll Love This Role? - Aged Care Focus: Work with CHSP and Support at Home clients, with a strong focus on swallowing assessments and adult communication needs
- Autonomy & Growth: As the sole Speech Pathologist on-site, you will have the opportunity to establish and shape the speech pathology service, supported by a wider multidisciplinary network
- Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside an experienced (and growing) team including an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, and Exercise Physiologist.
- Support Structure: Receive mentoring and support from a team of Senior Speech Pathologists based in Brisbane, along with fortnightly “share & learn” sessions, MDT meetings, and ongoing professional development courses using a PD allowance
- Balanced Workload: Minimum 22.8 billable hours per week (approx. 60% of workload), with structured time allocated for administration and documentation
- Admin Support: Dedicated team managing bookings, billings, and client correspondence, supported by Power Diary for seamless scheduling
- Flexible Work Options: Choose your preferred work structure, including clinic and limited WFH for non-client-facing tasks
- Access the Employee Assistance Program: Offering free counselling sessions for you when you need it
Your Role Will Include: - Conducting swallowing and communication assessments for older adults
- Developing and implementing evidence-based therapy plans
- Completing occasional home visits for functional assessments
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Contributing to service development and clinical excellence
What We’re Looking For: - Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Speech Pathologist
- SPA membership
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Drivers license and own vehicle
- Experience in aged care or a strong interest in transitioning into this space
- Confidence working independently as the sole Speech Pathologist on-site
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
