Our client is a an established law firm based in South East Melbourne with over 60 years of trusted service. Known for resolving disputes head-on and delivering practical outcomes, they foster a no-hierarchy culture where lawyers are valued as people, not just billables. With 12 staff and growing, they are serious about development and transparency.
About the Position:
You’ll join the litigation team as a mid-level lawyer, stepping into a genuinely supportive culture. Reporting directly to a Partner known for being fair, humorous and calm under pressure, you’ll work across a range of disputes involving sale of business, property transactions, commercial leases, construction contracts, and insolvency.
Key Requirements: - 3–5 years PAE in commercial law and/or commercial litigation
- Skilled in drafting pleadings and managing varied disputes
- Personable, proactive, and commercially minded
- Experience in sale of business, leasing, or insolvency is a plus
