Commercial Lawyer (18-24 months PAE) saught for specialist boutique CBD law firm. Offering a mix of advisory & Litigation. $80K-$110K
Our client is a specialist commercial and business law firm with a growing client base spanning SMEs, private clients, and emerging companies. Known for offering practical, commercially driven legal advice, the firm handles a wide range of transactions and advisory matters, including structuring, shareholder agreements, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance.
You’ll work closely with experienced senior associates and partners across both transactional and advisory work, developing your technical and commercial skills while building long-term client relationships.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit team, takes initiative, and is seeking a clear progression pathway.
Salary and Features of the position: - $80,000 - $110,000 Salary range (18-24 months PAE)

Key Responsibilities: - Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, including supply, services, and IP licences
- Assisting with business sale and purchase transactions, including due diligence
- Advising on corporate structuring, shareholders’ agreements and constitutions
- Supporting clients on compliance and governance issues
- Research and drafting of client advice on a wide range of business law matters
- Managing client relationships with increasing autonomy over time
Key Requirements: - Admitted as a lawyer in Australia with 18–24 months PAE
- Solid foundational experience in commercial or corporate law (private practice or in-house)
- Strong drafting and legal research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A proactive, commercially minded approach
- Willingness to learn and take on responsibility in a supportive team environment
