Our client is a leading national law firm with a projects and construction team acting for industry-leading developer clients. A permanent opportunity has opened for a Senior Associate with 6 or more years' PAE to lead procurement and contracts work in the Sydney team.

About the role
  
You will take a senior role on procurement and contracts across major projects, working closely with the Partner. You will:

• Lead procurement strategies and project delivery models for developer clients
• Draft and negotiate construction agreements and related contract documents
• Run matters day to day and supervise the more junior lawyers
• Work directly with the Partner on the more complex matters
• Build your standing with developer clients

What you'll bring

• 6 or more years' PAE
• Admission to practise in Australia and a current practising certificate
• Front-end construction or projects experience gained in a mid tier or top tier firm
• Strong drafting skills, commercial judgement and a collaborative approach
