About the role!

You will join a Banking & Financial Services practice and work across funds management, financial services compliance and corporate transactions with highly regarded senior lawyers.

• Establish and operate funds across asset classes
• Assist with fund restructures, mergers and closures
• Advise on AFSL requirements, applications and variations
• Prepare and review product disclosure statements and information memoranda
• Undertake due diligence for transactions and disclosure documents
• Review fund-related commercial agreements
• Advise on service provider arrangements
• Work on M&A and broader corporate transactions
• Support marketing, BD, seminars, articles, precedents, CPD and team initiatives

What you'll bring!

You will ideally be a Lawyer or Associate with 4 years’ post-admission experience in funds management and/or financial services law, with private practice experience preferred.

• Excellent drafting, technical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Commercial approach to client solutions
• Ability to manage client relationships
• Interest in innovation and practice development
• Willingness to mentor and supervise junior team members

• Corporate, commercial or banking lawyers with a genuine interest in financial services are strongly encouraged to apply
