About Our Client: Our client is a thriving and well-established law firm in Springfield, Queensland, recognised for its dedication to client advocacy and exceptional legal outcomes. With a core focus on family law, they also offer expertise across Property, Commercial Law, and Wills & Estates. The firm fosters a progressive, people-first culture where junior solicitors are supported, mentored, and encouraged to reach their full potential within a collaborative and down-to-earth team.

About the Position: Our client is inviting a passionate Junior Family Lawyer (1–3 years PAE) to join their growing family law division. This is a prime opportunity for someone looking to build a meaningful legal career under the guidance of respected and approachable senior lawyers. You’ll gain hands-on experience with parenting disputes, property settlements, divorces, and financial agreements — while being coached on strategy, client management, and courtroom representation.

The role is designed with your development in mind, including regular feedback, close mentorship, and a clear roadmap to advancement — with a future opportunity to move into senior positions, including Directorship and profit-share. With a modest daily billable target, you’ll have time to absorb, grow, and focus on quality legal work.

Key Requirements:

  • Between 1–3 years PAE with a focus on family law
  • Desire to build expertise and long-term career in family law
  • Excellent communication and empathetic client approach
  • Ability to manage files with guidance while developing autonomy
  • Open to learning, feedback, and professional growth
On Offer:
  • Salary range of $90,000 to $130,000 depending on experience
  • Structured mentoring program with clear performance goals
  • Long-term career development including Directorship pathway
  • Balanced workload with realistic targets and supportive culture
  • Work-from-home flexibility and strong emphasis on work-life balance
  • Access to professional training, CPD, and knowledge-sharing forums
  • A welcoming team that values development, respect, and inclusion
