Our client is seeking a Senior Family Lawyer or Accredited Specialist to lead and grow their Sydney CBD team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role within a specialist firm offering strong client demand, flexibility, and a clear path to partnership.  
   
 Salary and Benefits Offered:
  • Salary range: $180,000 – $220,000 + monthly commissions

About the Position:
 
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Family Lawyer or Accredited Specialist to step into a key leadership role within a growing Sydney CBD practice.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading complex parenting and property matters across a range of high-quality files
  • Mentoring and supporting a team of Associate-level lawyers and legal support staff
  • Playing an active role in the strategic growth of the Sydney office
  • Building and managing client relationships, with a focus on service excellence
  • Contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking leadership team
  • Progressing toward a clear and achievable pathway to partnership and equity
About the Firm:
Join a respected and fast-growing specialist family law firm with a strong presence across NSW. Our client has built one of the largest dedicated family law teams outside of Sydney and is now firmly established in the Sydney CBD. With a steady pipeline of quality matters, a collaborative team culture, and strong marketing support, this firm is offering the chance to take on a key leadership position in their Sydney practice.

Key Requirements:
  • 8+ years post-admission experience in Family Law
  • Strong background in both parenting and property matters
  • Confident in advocacy before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities or prior team management experience
  • Existing referral networks within the Sydney legal market (desirable)
  • Specialist Accreditation in Family Law or intent to pursue (highly regarded)
  • Passion for mentoring, collaboration and delivering exceptional service
