An award-winning top-tier law firm with Melbourne CBD offices has a unique and rewarding position available for an Associate or Senior Associate level Insurance Lawyer to join their dynamic and friendly insurance team.
You will have the ability to collaborate and work alongside some of Australia's finest and highly reputed insurance practitioners and progress your skills and career within a positive and successful workplace culture. The position would see you representing the defence.

$130,000 to $160,000 + Super for the right lawyer.

Day to Day and about the Position
The firm is renowned for the high-quality advice and exceptional service it provides. The Insurance team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry both locally and overseas.
You will have a broad range of public liability and general insurance work from an array of clients, with a focus on personal injury including historical abuse claims.
Draft relevant legal documents for cases.
Keep in view the broader perspective and integrate other commercial and client-related factors while handling your cases.
Requirements
Previous defendant insurance and litigation experience within the liability area
4 years + PQE within the Insurance space.
Professional Acumen - proactive, innovative and outcome-focused approach
Excellent communication & collaborative prerogative
Empathy and Confidence - Understand that clients you’ll interact with will have oftentimes experienced trauma. As such, your approach must be intuitive, reassuring and confident.
