Position Overview

Lead high-stakes insolvency and commercial litigation mandates in a market-leading practice, expanding your strategic profile and global reach.


About the Law Firm

Our client is one of Australia’s foremost independent law firms, with over 100 years of heritage and a diverse team of more than 1,000 professionals across Australia. They’re consistently top-ranked for complex disputes and insolvency work both domestically and internationally.


What You’ll Be Doing

Embedded in their specialist Commercial Litigation & Insolvency team, you’ll join as an Associate and drive major dispute strategies and formal administrations.
  • Draft and negotiate insolvency pleadings, court documents and settlement agreements
  • Lead interlocutory applications, mediations and contested hearings in state and federal courts
  • Conduct rigorous research, client briefings and risk-mitigation advice for senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-practice teams on corporate, financial services and regulatory issues

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years’ PQE in commercial litigation, insolvency or restructuring at a reputable firm
  • Exceptional drafting, advocacy and stakeholder-management skills
  • Proven ability to juggle complex files and tight deadlines
  • A collaborative, commercial mindset and client-first approach
