The Firm
 
A mid-sized premium boutique firm based in Melbourne with a multidisciplinary practice across Commercial and Corporate Law, Employment Law, Family Law,  Property and Wills and Estates.

The firm's clients range from mums and dads to corporate SME's thereby opening up plenty of work opportunities as they move through different stages of their lives and/or their businesses.

The firm has excellent goodwill in the local community and is known for conducting a premium business which draws polished lawyers and respectable clients.  

The work environment is excellent: a supportive and collaborative team that looks out for one another and opportunities to work from home to help support mental health.  
 

The Role

A full-time, permanent role for an experienced Wills & Estates Lawyer, and you will be working across a novel and challenging caseload

There will also be probate applications and opportunities for contested estates.

This role would be ideal for someone who possesses excellent business sensibilities and therefore can strike up an easy and immediate rapport with the firm's clients, whether they are individuals with investments and assets or business owners and corporates, with needs for complex estate planning.

Essential Requirements
  • 5 - 7 years PAE in Wills & Estates accrued in Australian Law firms
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - highly collegiate and a team player
  • Professional presentation: excellent plain English communication skills and demonstrated success with client liaison
