Join a highly regarded Sydney-based Commercial Disputes & Insolvency team as a Senior Associate and work on a variety of stimulating and high level, complex matters. 

About the Role :

Supporting a team of Partners, you will form part of a team of lawyers working across a range of general commercial litigation matters and Insolvency work. You will be responsible for drafting documents such as letters of demand, subpoenas, pleadings and affidavits. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys advocacy and is keen to appear at directions hearings. The work also includes the preparation of briefs to Counsel, instructing Counsel at interlocutory and final hearings and preparation of Court books. Ideally, you should also have experience drafting bankruptcy notices, statutory demands and supporting documents.

Requirements:

• Commercial litigation lawyer with 4 years or more experience 
• Ability to work autonomously on small debt recovery matters and work as part of a team on large litigation and insolvency matters
• Team-orientated and down-to-earth approach. 
• Excellent academic record
