About the Position:

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious litigation lawyer who wants to sharpen their craft in commercial disputes and take the next step toward seniority.
You’ll be actively involved in running matters end-to-end, working closely with senior litigators while developing your own autonomy, advocacy and strategic judgment.

Work will include:

• Commercial litigation and dispute resolution
• Federal Court and NSW Supreme/District Court matters
• Drafting pleadings, evidence and submissions
• Directions hearings, subpoenas and procedural work
• Advising sophisticated commercial clients
• Mentoring and collaborating with junior lawyers

This is a role for someone who wants to be in the action — not sitting on the sidelines.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Managing commercial litigation files from start to finish
• Drafting high-quality court documents and evidence
• Attending directions hearings and procedural appearances
• Working closely with counsel and senior litigators on strategy
• Developing strong client relationships and commercial insight
• Supporting junior lawyers and contributing to a high-performing team

Key Requirements:

• 4–6+ years’ experience in commercial litigation or disputes
• Strong understanding of court procedure and evidence
• Confidence with hearings, subpoenas and interlocutory work
• Sharp drafting skills and strong attention to detail
• A proactive mindset and desire to take ownership
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment
