About the role!

You’ll take carriage of your own matters and play an important part in the continued growth of the Wills, Estates and Probate practice in South East Queensland.

• Managing a mix of wills, estate planning and probate matters
• Handling estate administration files with confidence and care
• Bringing contested estates experience into the practice where relevant
• Building rapport with clients and referral sources
• Working closely with an interstate team through phone, video and email
• Being based on the Gold Coast, or in Brisbane with weekly Gold Coast travel (1 day to GC Office)
• Contributing as a polished, reliable Associate who can be trusted with client relationships

This role needs a lawyer who is technically sound, commercially sensible and comfortable with the human side of estates work.

• Associate-level experience in wills, estates and probate
• Solid capability in both estate planning and estate administration
• Contested estates exposure is ideal
• Confidence running files autonomously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ease working with interstate colleagues in a connected team model
• Professional, reliable approach to clients, referrers and colleagues
• A genuine ability to build trust and rapport
