What you’ll be doing
  • Managing 1st party property and multi-party property liability matters
  • Advising on coverage disputes and policy response issues
  • Handling large subrogated recoveries
  • Working on professional indemnity matters, particularly in defence of construction and property professionals
  • Running matters from inception through to resolution
  • Liaising directly with clients, experts, counsel and interstate colleagues
  • Keeping files moving with strong organisation, communication and commercial focus

Requirements
  • At least 3 years’ experience in 1st party property disputes or multi-party property liability claims
  • Strong litigation skills and confidence managing matters with a good level of autonomy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound drafting, file management and organisational capability
  • The ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities well
  • Professionalism, sound judgement and strong client service instincts
  • Coverage experience will be highly regarded
