About the Opportunity:
  
Our client is looking for a Property & Development Partner who can bring a portable client base and lead property matters end-to-end. The work includes acquisitions and disposals, leasing (including complex commercial portfolios), development structuring, and the full lifecycle of real estate transactions.
This is ideal for a partner who enjoys driving deals, advising commercially, and building a high-performing practice with genuine autonomy.
  
About the Firm and Team:
  • Our client is a expanding boutique Australian commercial law firm with offices in Sydney and Brisbane, advising across core commercial areas including property and dispute resolution.
  • The Firm is rapidly expanding and has Partners locvated in Sydney and Brisbane and a successful team of Senior and Associate level lawyers. 
  • The practice aligns with private capital and real assets, acting for developers, investors and lenders on property-driven work.
  • The firm promotes a modern delivery model supported by advanced AI systems and proprietary tools to streamline transaction workflows and improve turnaround.
Salary and features:
  • Base salary is protected; our client will match the successfuls candidate’s current minimum fixed component. 
  • Meaningful performance upside is built in.
  • Revenue target is set at a fair, achievable level (materially lower than typical BigLaw/mid-tier benchmarks) so profit-share is reached earlier.
  • Generous bonus/profit-share applies to all revenue above the hurdle.
  • Transparent percentage split with a clear, agreed share between the fee earner and the firm.
