About the role
The practice focus is property damage liability claims, recoveries and indemnity or coverage disputes. Day to day, you will review documents, prepare evidence, draft correspondence to the Court and third parties, conference with witnesses, prepare witness statements, brief counsel, draft Court documents, attend Court, prepare client advices and instruct experts. You will have carriage of your own files with appropriate supervision, giving you both independence and a reliable support structure.
What you'll bring
You will likely have 3-4 years of post-admission experience in insurance law, including property damage, indemnity and or large loss recoveries, along with experience advising insurers on indemnity and coverage and running litigation end-to-end. You are likely to be a strong drafter, detail-focused and collaborative in your approach.
