What you need to know: Early Intervention – Speech Pathology

In this role, you’ll be supporting young children and their families through evidence-informed early intervention that is practical, warm, and outcomes-focused. Your day may include clinic, home, childcare/kindy visits and community settings (depending on family needs).

You will:

  • Deliver early intervention speech pathology supports for children (typically birth to school age), tailored to each child’s goals
  • Assess and support speech sound development, receptive/expressive language, early literacy foundations, play, social communication and interaction
  • Support early feeding and mealtime development where relevant (or be willing to learn with training)
  • Contribute to AAC supports (low-tech to high-tech) and help families/carers implement strategies consistently
  • Provide parent coaching and practical home programs that fit real routines (mealtimes, playtime, childcare transitions)
  • Collaborate closely with families, educators, support coordinators and multidisciplinary therapists to deliver consistent care
  • Write clear, NDIS-friendly reports, goal plans and progress updates
  • Attend regular team meetings and access clinical supervision, mentoring, and ongoing learning opportunities
  • Enjoy variety in your caseload while working within a specialist, multidisciplinary environment
Work settings You’ll work across a mix of: specialist clinics, homes, childcare/kindy visits and community environments (and where needed, other everyday settings that support development).

Company Culture: What really defines the culture is the way staff show up for each other. They value collaboration, not the performative kind, the practical, “let’s problem-solve together” kind. Staff work across disciplines, share knowledge, lean on each other’s strengths, and feel safe asking questions.

Don’t just take our word for it; here are some staff quotes:

“The people you work with make each day a happy experience.”

“Great team culture… everyone is supportive of each other.”

“Lots of professional development opportunities + resources.”
