About the Position Our client is looking for a confident and experienced Locum Dental Hygienist to work approximately 2 days per week initially.

This opportunity is ideal for someone seeking flexibility, whether you're balancing other clinical commitments or simply prefer a shorter working week.

Available working arrangements:

• Tuesday and Wednesday (preferred)
• Tuesday and Thursday
• Wednesday and Thursday

The successful candidate will work independently without a dedicated Dental Assistant, making this position particularly suitable for an organised Hygienist comfortable managing their own clinical workflow.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing scaling, polishing and periodontal maintenance treatments
• Conducting oral health assessments and providing preventive care
• Delivering personalised oral hygiene advice and patient education
• Providing fluoride treatments where clinically appropriate
• Managing treatment room preparation, sterilisation and turnaround
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and excellent infection control standards

Key Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Dental Hygienist
• Previous experience working in a clinical dental environment
• Confidence working independently without chairside assistance
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills
• Strong communication and patient-care abilities
• Availability for approximately 2 days per week
