The team has built its reputation on resolving matters efficiently and with genuine care — favouring mediated, collaborative outcomes wherever possible, while remaining more than capable of running a matter hard in court when that's what the client needs. Based in the Sydney CBD, the firm has around 15 staff and a close-knit, supportive culture.

The Opportunity

This is a senior, largely autonomous family law role for a practitioner ready to run their own caseload with minimal oversight — from property settlements through to parenting matters — while also playing a genuine mentoring role for more junior lawyers in the team. You'll be a trusted, senior voice within a small, experienced group, with real input into how matters — and over time, the team — are run. For the right candidate, there's a genuine pathway to partnership.

• $170,000 – $200,000+ package, commensurate with experience

About You

• 8+ years' PAE in family law, with the technical depth to handle complex property and parenting matters independently
• Comfortable working autonomously, with sound judgement on when to escalate
• A natural mentor — happy to guide, supervise and develop junior lawyers
• Current NSW practising certificate (or eligibility to hold one)
