Join a leading national firm’s Melbourne Employment & Workplace Relations team as a Senior Associate, advising on a full spectrum of workplace law matters, with opportunity to lead, mentor and shape strategic outcomes.

About the firm

Our client is a well-known, Australian law firm with a respected presence in corporate, commercial and employment law. The firm is consistently recognised for innovation, technical excellence and client service, and their Employment Advisory team advises across all stages of employment, enterprise bargaining, litigation, compliance and workplace safety.


The role

As Senior Associate, you’ll take on technically demanding matters across employment and industrial relations while supporting and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Advising clients on unfair dismissal, discrimination, enterprise agreements, general protections
  • Leading workplace investigations, compliance reviews and policy development
  • Managing claims, tribunal and court litigation, including industrial action
  • Collaborating directly with senior partners and clients

What you’ll bring
  • 5+ years’ PQE in employment / workplace relations law
  • Depth across advisory and contentious matters
  • Strategic thinking, strong drafting and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to mentor juniors and lead files
