An exciting role for a commercial litigator at associate or senior associate level who enjoys technically challenging disputes, direct client contact and working in a recognised national practice.


About the Firm

Our client is a national firm with a respected commercial litigation and insurance disputes team. The practice advises on significant claims for corporate clients, insurers and government related bodies across sectors such as construction, property, transport and financial services. The team is known for strong technical capability, well prepared matters and a practical, outcome focused style.

Lawyers here are encouraged to take ownership of files, contribute to strategy and engage directly with sophisticated clients while still having support close by.


What You’ll Be Doing

You will be a key member of the disputes team, working on matters that demand both technical skill and sound judgment.

• Running commercial, insurance and professional risk disputes
• Drafting complex advices, pleadings and evidence
• Preparing for and attending mediations and settlement discussions
• Involvement in large or multi party litigation where required
• Advising clients on risk, settlement options and strategy
• Contributing to team knowledge sharing or client training sessions


What You’ll Bring

• 3-5 years' PQE in commercial litigation
• Strong analytical skills and clear, concise drafting
• Confidence dealing with corporate and insurer clients
• A detail focused, proactive and solutions oriented mindset
