Its Newcastle office holds a strong reputation in the local market and offers a supportive, rewarding place to work. The team is now looking for a Personal Injury Lawyer with 2-5 years' PAE to run a plaintiff practice from its Newcastle CBD office.

About the role
  
You will run a varied plaintiff personal injury practice across the firm's core compensation areas. You will:

• Manage a portfolio of plaintiff matters across workers compensation, work injury damages, motor vehicle accidents and public liability
• Prepare court documents, orders and general correspondence
• Run your files from instruction through to dispute resolution and settlement
• Attend court, conferences and settlement negotiations
• Work closely with the partner and support staff to keep a busy practice moving

What you'll bring

• 2-5 years' PAE in personal injury law
• Admission in NSW and a current practising certificate
• Experience in one or more of workers compensation, WID, MVA or public liability
• Confidence attending court and running negotiations
• Strong organisation and the ability to manage a high volume of files
• Motivation to grow your career in a specialist plaintiff firm
