Our client is a respected plaintiff personal injury firm with a strong presence in the NSW market, known for running high-quality motor vehicle accident (CTP), workers compensation and public liability matters. Its Sydney team, which includes Accredited Specialists and lawyers recommended in Doyle's Guide, is now looking for a Senior Personal Injury Lawyer with 5+ years' PAE to run a senior CTP and public liability practice.

About the role
  
You will run your own portfolio of complex plaintiff matters, with a focus on CTP and public liability. You will:

• Manage a portfolio of plaintiff CTP files (statutory benefits and common law) and public liability claims
• Handle workers compensation matters as they arise
• Run matters from intake through to resolution, including liability investigations, quantum assessments, negotiations and mediations
• Liaise regularly with clients, medical experts, insurers and counsel
• Work alongside junior lawyers and paralegals on your files
• Grow your profile and develop referrer relationships

What you'll bring

• 5+ years' PAE in plaintiff personal injury, ideally with a strong CTP focus
• Admission in NSW and a current practising certificate
• Solid public liability experience and sound knowledge of the NSW CTP scheme
• Confidence running files end to end, including negotiations and mediations
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Ambition to build a referrer network and grow your practice
