You’ll join a respected Sydney CBD team known for dispute resolution and insolvency litigation, acting on matters for government, enterprise and business clients across complex, commercially driven disputes.

About the role

The practice is heavily disputes-focused, with insolvency and restructuring at the core. You’ll work across litigation and recoveries ranging from smaller claims through to complex high-value matters, with scope to advise strategically and run matters with increasing independence as your level dictates.

• Insolvency litigation, bankruptcy and company liquidation.
• Corporate, commercial and contractual disputes.
• Recovery work, enforcement and asset preservation strategies.
• Investigations, examinations and broader contentious insolvency issues.
• Drafting detailed advice, managing files and building direct client relationships.

What you'll bring

This will suit a lawyer with solid commercial litigation foundations and a genuine interest in insolvency and restructuring. The right person is likely to be practical, commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership while still enjoying being part of a close, collaborative team.

• 2+ PAE in commercial litigation, insolvency or restructuring.
• A practical, results-driven approach and sound commercial judgement.
• Strong drafting skills and the confidence to deal directly with clients.
• A personable style, good work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively.
• The motivation to keep building your profile in disputes, insolvency and restructuring.
