About the Opportunity: 

Our client is looking for a Senior Litigator (around 4 years PAE) to join a fast-moving litigation team and drive matters from start to finish.

You’ll take real ownership across a varied commercial disputes mix, including:

• Pleadings, evidence preparation, and interlocutory strategy
• Directions hearings, subpoenas, discovery and court timetables
• Briefing and instructing counsel, and running matters with confidence
• Settlement strategy, mediations and pragmatic dispute resolution pathways

This is a role for someone who enjoys being “on the tools” and making decisions — with strong support around you:

• 1 Partner +  Senior Associates in your immediate support line
• A wider team of 4 lawyers ready to assist with the workload
• Genuine scope to mentor juniors and lift the team’s capability

You’ll also get exposure to complex, high-stakes disputes (think serious commercial litigation, with crossover into areas like contract claims, IP/content and franchising depending on the matter)

Salary & Features of the position:

• $140,000 - $180,000 Guide Range

Key Requirements:

• Around 4+ years PAE in commercial litigation / disputes
• Strong working knowledge of NSW court procedure and experience in Federal Court matters
• Excellent understanding of the rules of evidence and confident drafting skills
• Proven ability to run files with autonomy while guiding junior lawyers
• Commercial mindset: you can give clear, practical advice and keep matters moving
