Your Caseload: You'll work with children and adolescents aged approximately 2–18 years across presentations including:

• Autism
• ADHD
• Sensory processing
• Emotional regulation
• Executive functioning
• Fine and gross motor skills
• Self-care
• Independence
• School participation

Most clients present with Level 1 or Level 2 Autism, providing a strong foundation for continuing to develop your paediatric OT skills.

More complex presentations can be introduced depending on your experience and confidence.

A Manageable Mix of Clinic & School Work The week is generally:
50% clinic | 50% school/community

Most community appointments involve schools rather than routine home visits, and travel is generally within approximately 30 minutes of the clinic.
Clinic appointments are usually structured as:
45 minutes with the child + 15 minutes documentation
This provides dedicated time for notes rather than expecting every appointment to run back-to-back.

Requirements

• Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
• Full AHPRA registration
• Minimum 1 year Occupational Therapy experience
• Driver's licence and vehicle
• Working With Children Check
• National Police Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
