Job Description

Western Sydney / Mount Druitt
  • $85,000 + super starting salary for New Graduates
  • Salaries up to $110,000 + super, depending on experience
  • Additional performance incentives available
  • Established caseload and growing waitlists
  • Join 6 existing Speech Pathologists
  • Weekly supervision with a Senior Speech Pathologist
  • Structured 6-month Graduate Program
  • Approximately 50% clinic / 50% community
  • Option to work with a fully paediatric caseload
  • Weekly multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Strong team culture with genuine staff retention
This isn't a replacement role. Nobody has left.

The team comes together for weekly multidisciplinary meetings, providing regular opportunities to discuss clients, share ideas and stay connected with the broader team.
The team has breakfast together after the weekly meeting, with the Admin Manager cooking for everyone. It's a small detail, but it says a lot about the type of culture they have built.

The Speech Pathology team is growing because demand for their services continues to increase.

You'll be joining an established multidisciplinary allied health provider in Western Sydney with 3 full-time and 3 part-time Speech Pathologists already within the team, established referral streams and clients ready to be allocated.

That means you're not joining a business hoping to eventually build your caseload.

The caseload is already there.

A Speech Team That Has Actually Stayed. One of the biggest strengths of this opportunity is retention.
The organisation isn't constantly replacing clinicians and rebuilding its team. Instead, the existing Speech Pathologists have remained and the business is now recruiting because waitlists are continuing to grow.

You'll have other Speechies around you throughout the week, including access to an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist for weekly supervision.
For a developing clinician, that means you aren't expected to figure everything out by yourself.

For someone more experienced, it means you can still enjoy autonomy without being isolated from other clinicians within your discipline.

New Graduate? You Won't Be One of Ten Grads. If you're graduating or newly qualified, this is a particularly strong opportunity.
You'll complete a structured six-month graduate development program, but importantly, the organisation is only looking to bring one new graduate Speech Pathologist into the team.

You won't be part of a huge graduate intake where everyone is competing for supervision time.

You'll have:
  • Weekly supervision with a Senior Speech Pathologist
  • Structured support across your first six months
  • Gradual development of your caseload
  • Established Speech Pathologists around you
  • Weekly MDT meetings
  • Opportunities to ask questions throughout the week
  • Support to develop your clinical confidence rather than being expected to know everything immediately
The starting salary for a New Graduate is $85,000 + super, with access to the organisation's additional incentive structure after probation

Your Caseload: The service supports both paediatric and adult clients, giving clinicians flexibility around the type of caseload they want to develop.

If paediatrics is where your interest sits, there is enough demand to build a fully paediatric caseload.

Alternatively, you can work across a combination of adults and children to develop broader Speech Pathology experience.

Clinical work can include areas such as:
  • Speech sounds
  • Language development
  • Social communication
  • Literacy
  • AAC
  • Swallowing
  • Functional communication
  • Capacity-building intervention
Your caseload can be discussed around both your existing experience and the areas you would like to develop further.
Clinic + Community The position offers approximately a:
50% clinic | 50% community split

This gives you variety without spending your entire working week either sitting in the clinic or driving between appointments.

Appointments are generally structured around approximately 45–50 minutes with the client, with time allocated afterwards for documentation.
Travel also forms part of how the organisation considers weekly productivity rather than simply being treated as unpaid time between clients.
KPI Structure That Rewards You for Doing More: The standard weekly productivity expectation is approximately 27 hours, with travel incorporated into how this is calculated.

Once you have completed probation, there is also genuine upside if you choose to exceed your standard expectations.

Clinicians can access:
  • $75 for each additional KPI hour completed above target
  • The potential to earn an additional day off when performance is maintained above target across the relevant four-week period
  • Incentives that operate on a continuing rolling basis rather than being limited to a once-a-year bonus
The intention isn't that everyone should constantly work above target.
But if you're someone who is naturally productive and chooses to take on additional work, you can actually be rewarded for it.

A Proper Multidisciplinary Team: You'll be joining more than just a Speech Pathology department.
The broader organisation operates across multiple allied health disciplines, giving clinicians access to different perspectives around shared participants.

They're Looking for a Good Clinician and a Good Human. Clinical skill matters.
But the Directors are equally focused on bringing the right personality into a team that already works well together.

They're looking for someone who is:
  • Personable
  • Collaborative
  • Hard-working
  • Ethical
  • Happy to help teammates
  • Comfortable asking questions
  • Not overly individualistic
  • Interested in becoming part of the wider team
  • Someone who genuinely cares about the quality of support they provide
Their priority is protecting the team environment they already have as they continue to grow.

Salary & Benefits
  • $85,000 + super for New Graduates
  • Up to $110,000 + super depending on experience
  • $75 per additional KPI hour above target once eligible
  • Potential additional paid day off for sustained above-target performance
  • Four weeks annual leave
  • Structured six-month Graduate Program
  • Weekly Senior Speech Pathologist supervision
  • Weekly MDT meetings
  • Established caseload
  • Existing waitlists
  • Six Speech Pathologists already within the team
  • Hybrid clinic and community caseload
  • Paediatric-only caseload available
  • Ongoing professional development
  • Free employee wellbeing support
Interview Process: The organisation places a strong emphasis on team fit.
The first stage will involve an in-person interview, giving you the opportunity to see the environment and meet the people you'd actually be working with.

Shortlisted applicants will then have a second conversation with a Senior Speech Pathologist, allowing you to ask more detailed clinical questions and understand the support available before making a decision.

Who Can Apply? Applications are welcomed from:
  • 2026 Speech Pathology Graduates
  • New Graduate Speech Pathologists
  • Early-Career Speech Pathologists
  • Experienced Speech Pathologists
  • Clinicians wanting predominantly paediatric work
  • Speechies wanting a mixed adult and paediatric caseload
Above all, they're looking for someone who wants to join a stable team and grow with it.

This is expansion, not replacement.
